Brand Identity

Before a single page could be designed, Daily Dates needed a brand. I sketched out multiple logo variations with one goal: minimal, high-impact, and unmistakably connected to the product while feeling right at home in the athletic world.

With the logo locked in, I built out the full brand system — typography, colour palette, iconography and graphic language that all work together to make Daily Dates instantly recognisable.

From sketch to live store

With the brand in place I moved into website design. I had a first draft approved — but the intern brought in to build it struggled to translate the design accurately.

Rather than compromise, I took over and changed direction entirely. I used Variant, an AI design tool, to generate a strong landing page layout from my inspiration board — then used Claude Code to build out the remaining pages precisely.

The biggest technical challenge was integrating custom HTML pages with WooCommerce. After deep-diving into the docs and working with Claude, I cracked the integration — pages bind cleanly to the shop system.

Packaging that sells itself

Alongside the website, I designed packaging for three Daily Dates product lines. The brief was simple — make it unique. In a category where most packaging looks identical, a bold design makes people pick up the product even if it's just dates in a plastic pouch.

Each of the three packages has its own identity within the broader brand system, distinguishing the products while keeping the family look consistent on shelf.

Content that performs

Bold typography, high-contrast visuals, and Dutch-language copy built around the athlete audience Daily Dates wants to reach.
